Friends of Cedar Creek work to ensure the highest water quality
for Cedar Creek and to protect and preserve its watershed including
geologic features, native plants and animals.
On September 25, 2009 Tom and Jane were inducted into the Indiana
Conservation Hall of Fame along with several other esteemed colleagues
including President Benjamin Harrison and Gene Stratton-Porter.
"The Indiana Conservation Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have
made extraordinary and lasting contributions to the conservation and
preservation of Indiana's natural and cultural heritage.
Future nominations will be judged on their own merit but the impact of
this inaugural class will be used to evaluate future nominees."
